Yeah, me, I'm free and easy! It's all the drama, ya know? I'm over it. I'm an adult, and I tell ya, half the people I've dated in my adult life are still acting like we're in friggin high school! Or at least what tv has shown me high school is like, I never went.

Dating? What, they haven't invented the over-and-out on planet Zarcon, or wherever the eff you're from? [ If he sounds incredulous, it's because he is. Dating as a concept sounds archaic. It could be that the world of heroes, villains, and assassins doesn't allow for much time to scroll through Match.com, but Slade's aversion to romance is a great deal more practical.

The cop of a vampire he's been routinely doing the candlelight dinners thing with doesn't count. That's purely for strategic reasons. ]

...yeah, dating. I'm sorry, did you think that...what, mankind reaches space and suddenly we start coming up with whole new social structures? People meet and date and fall in love and get married if they wanna. I've had plenty of girlfriends and boyfriends, gone on hundreds of dates.

Figured mankind would have at least invented Tinder by the time they terraformed the moon. [ He's not sure if Jack's moons are actually livable, but it seems like the sort of thing people in space would start with. Obviously we have dating apps and shit. But it's not like everybody went 'dating is dumb, people aren't gonna do it anymore!'. Cuz here's the thing...some people want monogamy! Hell, I've done it. Worked for me at that point in my life. Doesn't work for me now. See, that's the beautiful thing about the future. We've stopped giving any shits how other people conduct their personal relationships and sex lives. You do you!
